Copy is heavily damaged; loose leaves between reddish marbled boards.

Dark brown leather tooled binding (c.16th-18th cent.). Some damage to corners; holes from original clasps present. Spine reads in gold, Calvin Psalmes 1571.

Inside cover reads 2 vols. in 1, [Price] L60. Bookplate (underneath CRRS Bookplate) reads, e libris John Taylor Allen, Strandbrooke, Suffolk. No. 1616 Vol 1., Bottom of t.p. missing, and replaced with different paper, with an autograph inscription of J.Bent?
