However, there is significant evidence that points to Sébastien Cramoisy (1584 - 1669) as the possible printer and bookseller, as he published many of Cardinal Richelieu's works beginning in 1614. It is worth noting that even if Cramoisy did publish this volume, his printer's device is nowhere to be found so he (or whomever the printer was) may have been asked to print this book anonymously.</text>

In addition, printed on the first blank leaf of the front matter in all capital letters is the name Selz Niedreb but it is unclear whether this is a name, or if this is in the German language. It may be the name of one of the book’s previous owners, or a donor who provided it to a library at some point.

As well, the title page features a signature, but it is unclear to whom it can be attributed. It is possible it could have been the bookseller or the printer's, else it would have belonged to one of the book’s owners.

Additionally, the spine has some further ornamentation in the form of gold fleur-de-lis symbols, which may have been added by the binder who was commissioned to create this binding case. The current binding was added after 1649 as evidenced by the good condition of the boards and little evidence of fraying of the spine.
