Initials "A K N" and year "1582" are stamped into the front cover. MARGINALIA: Small amount of Latin marginal notes alongside underlined Greek phrases in the text. BINDING: Germany (Wittenberg?), 16th-century blind-stamped alum-tawed pigskin over stacked paper boards. Both covers feature center panels with two Evangelist portraits (Front: Matthew and Mark; Back: Luke and John) bordered by ornamental roll containing floral designs, symbols of Wittenberg and Saxony, and medallions with profile portraits of Protestant leaders (ex. Luther, Melanchthon). Front cover includes compartments above and below central panel, stamped with initials "A K N" and year "1582" respectively.
