Printer’s device on title page, woodcut header image on first page of main text. As well, there is an ornament at the end of each section that resembles a fruit basket.

PROVENANCE:
CRRS bookplate on inner pastedown. T
here is a faint pen signature possibly of a bookseller or previous owner, Jean Brieriez. CRRS stamp on the final leaf. 

CONDITION: 
Binding: tight-back binding. The book has an elaborate marbled leopard pattern, leather over boards, quarter binding. The book does not open very easily and there is some chipping/fraying of the spine at times, but otherwise it is in good condition. As well, the printer has added gold rectangles, including gold letters for the title of the book, to the spine. 

Paper: wove paper; the pages show variation in the size of type. The printer had dyed the edges of the pages bright red for an aesthetic effect.

BINDING:
Tight-back binding. The book has an elaborate marbled leopard pattern, leather over boards, quarter binding. This book was rebound for a later owner and the bookbinder has added false bands in the spine for aesthetic purposes. 

Boards measure 11 x 17cm, leaves measure 10.5 x 16.6 cm.
 
INDEX:
Located at the front of the book; there is a letter following the index that indicates a statement of official proof from the King's lawyer (Latin). 

REPERTOIRE GENERALE:
This is a section that appears to be similar to an index and is located at the back of the book.
