Request a Rare Book

Requests may be submitted through our online retrieval request form.

Requests must be made 48 hours in advance of visiting the CRRS. Once your request has been filled, an email will be sent to the contact provided.

Please note: The CRRS’s rare books are organized into four sections: Rare Book, Rare Oversize, Erasmus Rare, Erasmus Rare Large (Oversize). This information for each book can be found in the University of Toronto Libraries catalogue record, where it appears before the call number. It’s important to make sure this is accurately reproduced in your request form to ensure timely retrieval of your book.
